When it’s too hot for coffee and you want to start the morning off by fueling your body with more than coffee, sugar, and creamer, a Cold Brew Smoothie w/ Banana is an easy and delicious choice.

It was a hot summer morning … just kidding. I don’t have any huge, long story to intro this smoothie. It’s yummy. It’s easy. I thought y’all would like it, so I’m sharing it with you.

I will say that “food bloggers” have their long stories for a reason. And one of the best ways you can support your favorite food bloggers is to be patient, read the story, slow scroll your way down to their recipe. They put a ton of time and energy into creating their recipes, testing, photographing, optimizing, etc to give you FREE content. Moving on …

I’d say the Cold Brew Smoothie takes about 8-10 minutes to prep and 12-13 minutes total to make. But the more you make it and if you have the ingredients all set out, it’ll take less time. One thing to know is this recipe will make 2 servings. But smoothies are one of those things where serving size is subjective.

Ingredients:

½ cup almond milk

½ cup Starbucks Vanilla Latte Cold Brew (or your favorite cold brew, play around with different ones)

1 frozen banana

1 scoop protein powder

½ Tbsp chia (chia seeds, not Chia pets)

1 tsp raw honey

1 cup ice cubes

The directions are pretty straight forward.

Combine almond milk, Starbucks Vanilla Latte Cold Brew, banana, protein powder, chia, honey, and ice in a blender.

Blend until smooth and serve.

See? Super easy!

These smoothies go beautifully with the French Toast Casserole we shared earlier!
